About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems and structures
- Execute aircraft modifications including removal and installation of airframes, landing gear, and engine components
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and internal quality standards
- Operate ground support equipment such as hydraulic power units, forklifts, and power carts
- Maintain accurate documentation including CMP cards and work order sign-offs
- Apply 6S and Lean initiatives to maintain clean and organized work areas
- Provide training and work direction to less experienced technicians (Senior level)
- Assist with aircraft movement and potential flight tests for certification
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
- Aviation maintenance experience ranging from 2 to 4+ years depending on level
- Experience with mid/large size aircraft for senior roles
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Valid driver's license (may be required)
- Ability to participate in a DOT/FAA drug and alcohol program
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of technical reference materials such as IPCs, Service Bulletins, and structural repair manuals
- Experience with computerized maintenance programs (CMP)
- Proficiency in Lean/continuous improvement processes
