Aircraft Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems and structures
• Execute aircraft modifications including removal and installation of airframes, landing gear, and engine components
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and internal quality standards
• Operate ground support equipment such as hydraulic power units, forklifts, and power carts
• Maintain accurate documentation including CMP cards and work order sign-offs
• Apply 6S and Lean initiatives to maintain clean and organized work areas
• Provide training and work direction to less experienced technicians (Senior level)
• Assist with aircraft movement and potential flight tests for certification

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
• Aviation maintenance experience ranging from 2 to 4+ years depending on level
• Experience with mid/large size aircraft for senior roles
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Valid driver's license (may be required)
• Ability to participate in a DOT/FAA drug and alcohol program

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of technical reference materials such as IPCs, Service Bulletins, and structural repair manuals
• Experience with computerized maintenance programs (CMP)
• Proficiency in Lean/continuous improvement processes
