Aircraft Systems Installer

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical components at the workstation, aircraft parking space, or assembly station
• Install, manufacture, mark, assemble, adapt, torque, and secure mechanical components and parts
• Inspect bonding according to orders, GTI, drawings, and technical specifications
• Perform system function checks and inspections across multiple aircraft areas
• Specialize in specific tasks such as hydraulic line installation, belly fairing installation, or wing/APU inspections
• Execute tasks within a high-pressure production environment following LEAN practices

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Aviation Production or an equivalent field
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and system-related tasks
• Proficiency in LEAN manufacturing practices
• Ability to work a static 2nd shift
• Ability to work at heights (up to 40 feet) and in confined spaces
• Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in Mechanics or Systems
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Aviation Production
• Vocational school training in the use of specific application tools and techniques
