Aircraft Structural Technician

Responsibilities

• Build mechanical structures and related components
• Integrate mechanical hardware
• Uphold shop cleanliness and organization
• Utilize proper PPE
• Work within a high-caliber cross-functional team

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Familiarity with hand, power, pneumatic, and inspection tools
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts (8+ hours)
• Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights, in small spaces, or awkward positions
• Ability to perform repetitive motions including bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 25 lbs
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and varied shifts

Experience Levels Required:

• Technician I: 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, technical repair, or mechanical maintenance in a regulated environment
• Technician II: 5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, technical repair, or mechanical maintenance in a regulated environment
• Senior Technician: 8+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, technical repair, or mechanical maintenance in a regulated environment

Preferred Qualifications

• A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) certification
• 2+ years of experience in the new space or aerospace industry
