About the role
Responsibilities
- Inspect, evaluate, repair, modify, and weld metal and/or composite aircraft parts according to airworthiness standards
- Order necessary parts and follow up with the Technical Purchasing team
- Collaborate with aircraft maintenance technicians to keep all aircraft systems operational
- Establish all required documentation for maintenance in compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR), Maintenance Control Manual (MCM), and Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM)
- Certify completed work by signing maintenance logs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- College diploma in aircraft maintenance or equivalent (structural assembly)
- At least two years of experience as a structural repair technician
- Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) "S" license
- Ability to perform meticulous manual work with high dexterity
- Ability to read blueprints and technical plans
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in French and English
Preferred Qualifications
- Welder certification is an asset
