Aircraft Structural Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect, evaluate, repair, modify, and weld metal and/or composite aircraft parts according to airworthiness standards
• Order necessary parts and follow up with the Technical Purchasing team
• Collaborate with aircraft maintenance technicians to keep all aircraft systems operational
• Establish all required documentation for maintenance in compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR), Maintenance Control Manual (MCM), and Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM)
• Certify completed work by signing maintenance logs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• College diploma in aircraft maintenance or equivalent (structural assembly)
• At least two years of experience as a structural repair technician
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) "S" license
• Ability to perform meticulous manual work with high dexterity
• Ability to read blueprints and technical plans
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in French and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Welder certification is an asset
