About the role
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair radio systems on T-1, T-38, and T-6 aircraft
- Utilize specialized avionics test equipment required for job assignments
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and Air Force Technical Orders
- Complete maintenance 781 forms and perform IMDS entries for all work accomplished
- Perform other related maintenance duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- U.S. Citizenship (required for site access)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with REAL ID within 30 days
- Four years of maintenance experience on radio, electrical, or instrument systems OR Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification OR military avionics training (DD214 required)
- Fluency in reading, speaking, and writing English
- Ability to meet physical requirements as stipulated in the CBA
