Aircraft Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections and maintenance oversight for C-12 and UC-35 Army transport aircraft
• Conduct spot-checks on work in progress and final inspections on maintenance items
• Comply with FAA regulations and written company maintenance and logistics procedures
• Ensure aircraft record-keeping procedures comply with DA PAM 738-751 requirements
• Evaluate on- and off-equipment maintenance tasks and report deficiencies
• Implement applicable Quality Control policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace in accordance with environmental standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
• FAA Inspection Authorization (IA)
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance
• Proficiency in the use of AWBS
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a medical physical examination for engine runs and ground taxi operations
• Physical ability to move within aircraft, climb, and lift/push up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience on C-12/King Air and/or UC-35 Cessna Citation V Ultra/Encore aircraft
• In-depth knowledge of FAA, Army Aviation Maintenance procedures, and Hawker Beech/Cessna maintenance
