Aircraft Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

• Assess the effectiveness of maintenance processes and conduct quality control evaluations to ensure intended results.
• Perform Personnel Evaluations (PEs), Supervisory Evaluations (SEs), Equipment Condition Inspections (ECIs), and In-Process Inspections (IPIs).
• Oversee TCTO, one-time inspection, and local work-card programs.
• Manage maintenance ground safety, OSHA compliance, and Foreign Object (FO) inspection programs.
• Oversee emergency, mishap, and incident reporting programs and assist the wing safety office.
• Manage the Maintenance Operating Instruction (MOI) program.
• Publish monthly Quality Control Summaries to provide management with trend information.
• Support the Hazardous Material Issue Point by issuing and receiving materials as required.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Minimum of 7 years of aircraft maintenance or inspection experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of documented experience in C-130 structural system repairs (preferably within the last 10 years).
• Formal Quality Control (QC) training and certification.
• Completion of an advanced applicable aircraft maintenance course.
• Proficiency with Management Information Systems (MIS) such as CAMS or IMDS.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical aircraft principles.
