About the role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure assigned aircraft are maintained within required specifications of 14 CFR Parts 43, 91, and 125 and other FAA and DOD regulations.
  • Inspect the work of Aircraft Mechanics performing maintenance, repairs, and modifications on structures, engines, electrical, avionics, and sub-systems.
  • Perform receiving, in-process, final quality, flight safety inspections, and functional operational tests.
  • Approve or reject work accomplished by field team members to ensure compliance with customer specifications and technical data.
  • Provide technical expertise to solve complex problems by interpreting blueprints and manufacturer manuals.
  • Maintain aircraft logs, records, and quality, safety, training, and certification documentation.
  • Monitor tool control programs, safety inspections, and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention.
  • Coordinate with Customer Quality Assurance Representatives regarding mandatory inspection points and final acceptance.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required to obtain CBP Background Investigation Suitability clearance.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working full-time as an aircraft and power plant mechanic.
  • Valid Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) License.
  • Valid FAA Inspection Authorization (IA).
  • Valid United States driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain a government flight line driver’s license.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English and interpret technical data.
