About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare exterior aircraft surfaces for painting
- Perform layout and apply prescribed primers, paints, and finishes to aircraft exteriors
- Apply aircraft finishes and external markings to various aircraft sections
Requirements
- 1+ years of painting experience in aircraft, automotive, industrial, or general painting
- U.S. Person status required (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
- Ability to work variable shifts
- Physical ability to stand, climb, bend, twist, squat, and kneel for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry between 10-35 pounds
- Ability to wear fall protection gear, safety equipment, and masks
- Ability to work with high hazard chemicals
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of specific aircraft or automotive painting experience
