Aircraft Painter

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting through cleaning, sanding, and stripping
• Apply paint to aircraft interior structures, including fuselage sections and supports
• Follow technical assembly manuals and data sheets to ensure correct material usage and timing
• Master various stages of the process including tracing, sanding, and applying self-adhesive films
• Utilize pneumatic or electrostatic spray guns and other modern painting technologies
• Perform touch-ups and modifications as required
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and report potential risks

Requirements

• DEP in auto body repair (or equivalent combination of experience and training)
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings
• Strong manual dexterity for precision work
• Comfortable wearing respiratory protection and required uniforms during work

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar aircraft painting or finishing role
• Knowledge of Bombardier procedures
