About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform full-range aircraft maintenance with a primary focus on sheet metal and structural repair.
- Manufacture and fabricate aircraft sheet metal parts, panels, and doors from various materials including aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel.
- Develop parts and templates from prints, drawings, or original parts to produce necessary repair components.
- Use metal forming tools such as cornice brakes, punch presses, and drill presses to shape components.
- Assemble and fasten fabricated parts using rivets, screws, nuts, and bolts.
- Ensure all finished aircraft parts meet strict quality standards for strength, soundness, and appearance.
- Read and analyze work requests, blueprints, and technical manuals to execute repairs.
Requirements
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Two (2) years of aviation maintenance experience.
- Three (3) years of rotary wing aircraft experience.
- Two (2) years of experience on assigned Mission Design Series (MDS) aircraft.
- US Citizenship is required for facility credentials and authorization.
- Must provide own tools and a personal toolbox (tools must be shadowed and etched with PID).
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time as operationally required.
- All experience must have occurred within the five (5) most recent years.
