About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform military tactical aircraft maintenance, including repairs and modifications to LUH72 aircraft structures and components.
- Maintain and repair aircraft components such as flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fuel systems.
- Interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and manufacturer manuals, to solve moderate to complex mechanical problems.
- Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies including engines, rotors, and transmissions.
- Conduct scheduled inspections, special inspections, and limited maintenance operational checks.
- Troubleshoot aircraft systems using specialized tools and test equipment.
- Maintain accurate aircraft logs and records using technical publications and Government STAMIS.
- Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems to ensure operational readiness.
Requirements
- Valid and up-to-date A&P license.
- Minimum of two (2) years of aviation maintenance experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of rotary wing aircraft experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience on the assigned Mission Design Series (LUH72).
- US Citizenship is required for facility credentials and authorization.
- Must provide own tools and a personal toolbox (tools must be shadowed and etched with PID).
- Ability to work in various environments, including hangars or outdoors, and handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
