Aircraft Mechanic I (UH-60 Specialty)

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on UH-60 helicopters, including the removal and installation of subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, and gearboxes
• Service, lubricate, and troubleshoot aircraft subsystems using specialized tools and equipment
• Prepare aircraft for scheduled inspections, maintenance checks, and special inspections
• Maintain accurate forms and records related to aircraft maintenance and repairs
• Disassemble defective parts and perform preventive maintenance on supplies and tools
• Adhere to all company safety programs and maintain a safety-first mentality

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three years of aviation maintenance experience
• Two years of rotary wing aircraft experience
• Two years of experience on the UH-60 Mission Design Series (MDS)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must provide own tools and toolbox according to company requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid and up-to-date A&P license
• U.S. military technical school or specialized aviation training course completion
