About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on aircraft propulsion, engine, and fuel systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex malfunctions in aircraft structures, landing gear, flight surfaces, and controls.
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft components including wings, fuselage, and hydraulic units using various hand and power tools.
  • Interpret manufacturer maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical data to determine repair methods.
  • Inspect and service engines and airframe components to ensure safe operating conditions.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and certify aircraft/engine logbook entries.
  • Perform preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of job-related experience.
  • 3 years of experience specifically with F/A-18E/F or EA-18G aircraft.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex malfunctions and perform Organizational Level Maintenance.
  • US Citizenship is required to obtain facility credentials and authorization.
  • Ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Ability to meet physical and medical requirements associated with daily tasks.
