Aircraft Mechanic I

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain aircraft structures, including wings, fuselage, landing gear, and flight control systems
• Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structure, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and engines
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to replace or rebuild functional components
• Interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical data to determine repair methods
• Perform preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections
• Document all work performed in maintenance records and verify completion
• Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with company safety and quality policies

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of job-related experience
• 3 years of F/A-18E/F or EA-18G experience
• Ability to pass a medical examination and maintain a Security Clearance
• Ability to perform complex Organizational Level Maintenance actions for EA-18G aircraft
