About the role

Responsibilities

  • Repair and replace aircraft structural components including stingers, longerons, bulkheads, beams, and aircraft skin
  • Fabricate, modify, and install structural parts using metal forming techniques such as stretching and shrinking
  • Mix and apply fiberglass materials, primers, paints, and corrosion control treatments
  • Balance rotary-wing aircraft blades and perform repairs to transparent plastic windows and enclosures
  • Use precision measuring gages, alignment fixtures, and common tools to perform structural repairs
  • Conduct inspections, component removals, and final checks on assembly and installation
  • Maintain technical records, prepare maintenance forms, and requisition repair parts
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and programs

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of aviation maintenance experience
  • 2 years of rotary wing aircraft experience
  • 2 years of experience on the assigned Mission Design Series (MDS)
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a NACI(T1) Public Trust Security Clearance
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to travel for TDY assignments as required
  • Must provide own tools and toolbox

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid up-to-date A&P license
  • U.S. military technical school or specialized training course certification
