About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on aircraft propulsion, engine, and fuel systems
- Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structures, landing gear, flight surfaces, and controls
- Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft components including wings, fuselage, and hydraulic units
- Interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical data to determine repair methods
- Inspect and service engines and airframe components to ensure safe operating conditions
- Perform preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and certify aircraft/engine logbook entries
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of job-related experience
- 3 years of experience with F/A-18E/F or EA-18G aircraft
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex malfunctions at the Organizational Level
- US Citizenship is required to obtain facility credentials
- Ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance
