Aircraft Mechanic I

Responsibilities

• Perform organizational level maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft components including hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, fuel, and rotor systems.
• Conduct scheduled, unscheduled, phase, calendar, conditional, and special inspections.
• Inspect, remove, and replace MV-22 components such as engines, APUs, prop-rotors, tilt axes, mid-wing gearboxes, landing gear, and actuators.
• Utilize the NALCOMIS reporting system to document discrepancies and repairs.
• Interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, and engineering specifications to determine repair methods.
• Assist higher-level mechanics in solving unusual maintenance problems.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Three years of recent aircraft systems experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI clearance.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Valid US Passport.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Ability to supply own hand tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with MV-22B Osprey aircraft.
• Previous experience with MV-22 Avionics.
