Aircraft Mechanic I Airframe

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections on aircraft structures and functional components
• Repair and replace aircraft structures including blades, fuselage, rigging, surface controls, and hydraulic units
• Interpret technical data, maintenance manuals, and service bulletins to determine repair methods
• Conduct periodic, phase, and progressive inspections on engines and airframe components
• Use specialized hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to locate and resolve malfunctions
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with all safety and FOD program requirements
• Assist with aircraft jacking, towing, and flight line operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of recent O level H-60S/R Aircraft Maintenance experience
• Minimum of 3 years of H60 CDQAR/QAR experience
• Proficiency in NALCOMIS/OOMA and general computer applications
• Ability to interpret complex technical data and engineering specifications
• US Citizenship required for facility credentials
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to work all shifts on-site

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with U.S. Naval repair and maintenance operations on military aircraft
• Current Plane Captain qualification
• Experience as an Airframe Workcenter Supervisor
