About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft structures, including blades, fuselage, and functional components
- Repair and replace components such as rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units using various hand and power tools
- Conduct 200-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, and periodic inspections
- Inspect turbine engines and components for cracks, corrosion, foreign object damage, and wear
- Interpret technical data, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and engineering specifications
- Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories
- Maintain accurate maintenance records for all work performed, including safety of flight items
- Participate in housekeeping, FOD programs, and the safe handling/disposal of Hazmat
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of recent O-level H-60S/R aircraft maintenance experience as a rated Aircraft Structural Mechanic (AM)
- Minimum of 3 years of H60 CDQAR/QAR experience
- Ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions
- US Citizenship (required for facility credentials/authorization)
- Valid Driver's License
- Proficiency with computer programs including Word, Excel, and NALCOMIS/OOMA
- Ability to work all shifts on-site
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with U.S. Naval repair and maintenance operations on military aircraft
- Plane Captain qualification
- Airframe Workcenter Supervisor experience
