About the role

Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, and overhaul UC-35 Cessna Citation aircraft and subsystems to ensure airworthiness and operational readiness
  • Utilize technical data to troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and replace faulty components
  • Adjust, repair, and replace electrical wiring and aircraft system avionics
  • Perform quality maintenance in accordance with federal aviation regulations, manufacturer specifications, or military technical orders
  • Maintain aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fuel systems
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and blueprints to determine repair methods
  • Disassemble and inspect parts for wear, warping, or other defects

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of hands-on UC-35 Citation aircraft mechanic experience
  • Proven experience with UC-35 Avionics systems
  • US Citizenship (required to obtain a US Government Secret Security Clearance)
  • Valid US Passport with at least 18 months remaining before expiration
  • Ability to provide own shadowed/etched tools and toolbox

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent full-time experience in aviation maintenance and avionics on UC-35 aircraft within the last 12 months
  • Six months of experience in avionics, flight line, and overhaul & inspection
  • Maintenance Training Qualification from a USG armed forces aircraft mechanic course or civilian equivalent
