Aircraft Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspection, repair, and modification of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft
• Conduct daily and turnaround inspections, corrosion control, and troubleshooting on aircraft systems
• Ensure all work complies with 14 CFR, Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, and technical manuals
• Perform fault isolation on airframes, structural, hydraulic, fuel, electrical, and engine systems
• May be required to fly on government aircraft for in-flight checks or relocation
• Maintain and use hand tools to support aircraft servicing and overhaul functions

Requirements

• Valid FAA Mechanic License with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings
• High school diploma or equivalent
• US Citizenship (required for CBP Background Investigation Suitability clearance)
• Valid State driver’s license
• Knowledge of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft systems and technical schematics
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
• Ability to follow federal and company procedures for hazardous waste disposal

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with B300 and AS350 aircraft models
