Aircraft Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures and components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fuel systems
• Perform daily, flight line, and hangar maintenance on assigned aircraft
• Conduct inspections, corrosion control, troubleshooting, and fault isolation on aircraft systems
• Interpret technical documentation such as blueprints and manufacturer manuals to solve complex problems
• Maintain accurate aircraft logs and records
• Prioritize workload schedules to meet project deadlines

Requirements

• US Citizenship (required for CBP Background Investigation Suitability Clearance)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) certificate
• Knowledge of airframe, engine, and hydraulic system repair and maintenance
• Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal and structural modification/repair
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to use specialized aircraft tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, and test equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of full-time experience as an aircraft mechanic
• FAA Inspection Authorization
