Aircraft Mechanic A&P - UC-35 Citation

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot UC-35 Cessna Citation malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces, engines, and auxiliary power units
• Perform quality maintenance on assigned aircraft in accordance with federal aviation regulations and technical orders
• Repair and replace aircraft structures, including wings and fuselage, and functional components like hydraulic units
• Read and interpret manufacturer maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical specifications
• Inspect engines and turbine blades for leaks, cracks, or defects using diagnostic test equipment
• Perform engine removals, installations, and component disassemblies
• Conduct miscellaneous servicing including flushing crankcases, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes

Requirements

• Valid FAA A&P Certificate
• 3+ years of aircraft mechanic experience (5+ years preferred)
• 6 months of flight line and overhaul & inspection experience
• US Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of formal maintenance training on the assigned aircraft type
• Recent full-time experience in aviation maintenance with the UC-35 Citation within the past 12 months
• Qualification by an appropriate USG armed forces aircraft mechanic maintenance course
