Aircraft Maintenance Technician II - C130

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain C-130 aircraft, engines, components, and systems independently.
• Assess aircraft for damage, condition, and required methods of repair.
• Perform depot-level and field maintenance in accordance with approved procedures and FAA regulations.
• Conduct confined space entry maintenance, including aircraft fuel tank repairs.
• Ensure continued airworthiness and return aircraft to service after major and minor maintenance.
• Work both in central aviation maintenance facilities and unsupervised at outlying field locations.

Requirements

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technician’s Certificate.
• Valid Class-C Driver’s License.
• Three years of aerospace industry experience as a certificated A&P Technician.
• Two years of experience working on type-specific aircraft (C-130 preferred).
• Ability to follow FAA-approved maintenance practices, techniques, and procedures.
