Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Advise the Superintendent on technical matters and lead mission-focused maintenance efforts
• Enforce strict adherence to technical data, management procedures, and safety directives
• Manage assigned resources, including adjusting personnel to meet production requirements and shift coverage
• Oversee the special certification roster (SCR) and ensure only qualified personnel perform maintenance
• Ensure accurate daily documentation of maintenance actions and completion of tasks in the MIS
• Review and evaluate management and production effectiveness using QA reports
• Participate in the maintenance planning cycle and minimize foreign object damage

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of aircraft maintenance control experience (private sector or military) related to releasing aircraft Safe for Flight
• 5-8 years of aircraft maintenance experience (private sector or military)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain and maintain required company or government security clearances
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to work any assigned shift or schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Management
• Completion of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Control Management for Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activities (OOMA) course
