Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead mission-focused maintenance efforts and advise the Superintendent on technical matters
• Manage assigned resources, personnel, and supervisory coverage for each shift
• Enforce strict adherence to technical data, management procedures, and safety directives
• Ensure accurate daily documentation of maintenance actions and completion in the MIS
• Review and evaluate management and production effectiveness using QA reports
• Manage the special certification roster (SCR) and ensure only qualified personnel perform maintenance
• Establish procedures to minimize foreign object damage and dropped objects
• Participate in the maintenance planning cycle and adjust resources to meet production requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5-8 years of aircraft maintenance experience in the private sector or military
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain and maintain required company/government security clearances
• Ability to work any assigned shift or schedule
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Management
