Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Fitting & Machining

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble, repair, and maintain aircraft components and mechanical systems
• Perform traditional fitting and machining activities
• Utilize CNC machining equipment to support workshop capabilities
• Ensure all work meets engineering standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

Requirements

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining) or equivalent
• Proven experience in precision engineering or maintenance environments
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Experience operating lathe and/or CNC machining equipment
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements
• Ability to work shifts to support operational requirements
