About the role
Responsibilities
- Manufacture, assemble, repair, and maintain aircraft components and mechanical systems
- Perform traditional fitting and machining activities
- Utilize CNC machining equipment to support workshop capabilities
- Ensure all work meets engineering standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Requirements
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining) or equivalent
- Proven experience in precision engineering or maintenance environments
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Experience operating lathe and/or CNC machining equipment
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work shifts to support operational requirements
