Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance and planning
• Ensure all spare parts are inspected and correctly certified before installation
• Participate in hangar organization and upkeep
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Travel to various worksites and environments as needed
• Perform other related tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 license
• Legal right to work in Canada
• Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) certification on one or more of the following: AS350B2, AS350B3, AS355N, B206 Series, B212, B412, or S61
• Organizational skills and initiative
• Customer service orientation and strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a Windows environment
• Ability to obtain controlled goods access authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• AME certification on other CHL aircraft types
• Completion of a basic maintenance course from a Transport Canada, TCAC, or DND approved training organization (for Southport location)
• Canadian military aircraft maintenance qualifications (for Southport location)
