About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance and planning
- Ensure all spare parts are inspected and correctly certified before installation
- Participate in hangar organization and upkeep
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Travel to various worksites and environments as needed
- Perform other related tasks assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 license
- Legal right to work in Canada
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) certification on one or more of the following: AS350B2, AS350B3, AS355N, B206 Series, B212, B412, or S61
- Organizational skills and initiative
- Customer service orientation and strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a Windows environment
- Ability to obtain controlled goods access authorization
Preferred Qualifications
- AME certification on other CHL aircraft types
- Completion of a basic maintenance course from a Transport Canada, TCAC, or DND approved training organization (for Southport location)
- Canadian military aircraft maintenance qualifications (for Southport location)
