About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform production assembly operations on interior assemblies including seats, cabinets, panels, and in-flight entertainment equipment
  • Work from diagrams, drawings, and blueprints to make initial layouts and use hand/power tools
  • Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures using measuring instruments
  • Conduct continuity checks and quality inspections on work in process
  • Perform serviceability tests utilizing specified test equipment
  • Complete work package documentation per FAA and repair station manuals
  • Submit completed work to Quality Assurance for final inspection and airworthiness certification

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 0-2 years of experience in assembly, mechanical, electrical, or aircraft structures
  • Proficiency in riveting and installation of related hardware
  • Ability to use precision instruments and air-powered hand tools
  • Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and specifications
  • Ability to wear a respirator as per OSHA regulations
  • Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • A&P certification
  • Mechanical or electrical experience
  • Structures experience
