About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, installation, and refurbishment of aircraft cabin interiors including seats, cabinets, panels, and partitions
- Work from diagrams, drawings, and blueprints to make initial layouts and assembly operations
- Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and saws to position and align subassemblies
- Conduct continuity checks and quality inspections on processing lines
- Complete work package documentation in accordance with FAA and repair station manuals
- Perform serviceability tests using specified technical equipment
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 2-4 years of experience in aircraft assembly, mechanical, electrical, or aircraft structures
- Proficiency in riveting and installation of related hardware
- Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Proficiency with air-powered hand tools and precision instruments
- Ability to wear a respirator per OSHA regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- A&P certification
- Mechanical or electrical experience
- Aircraft structures experience
