Aircraft Environmental Control Systems (ECS) Design & Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the development and documentation of aircraft Environmental Control System (ECS) analysis and architecture, including air conditioning, cabin pressure, and thermal management
• Assess complex system events to determine potential safety issues at the system and component levels
• Contribute to the development of hardware, software, and system performance requirements
• Assist in the certification of various airplane system installations for new and existing models
• Collaborate with airline customers and cross-functional teams to ensure effective system integration

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
• 2+ years of relevant systems engineering experience
• Knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working in a multi-disciplined Systems Engineering environment
• Knowledge of Boeing design, certification, and engineering principles
• Experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) or physical chemistry
• Ability to work effectively across multiple team functions
