Aircraft Environmental Control Systems (ECS) Design & Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the development and documentation of aircraft Environmental Control System (ECS) analysis and architecture, including air conditioning, cabin pressure control, and equipment cooling.
• Assess complex system events to determine potential safety issues using airplane function integration at the system and component level.
• Contribute to the development of hardware, software, system performance requirements, and analytical methods for new and existing airplane system installations.
• Collaborate with airline customers and cross-functional teams to ensure effective system integration and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace/Aeronautical, or Material Sciences).
• 1+ years of experience working in an engineering environment.
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person).

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience.
• Master's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field.
• Knowledge of Boeing design, certification, and engineering principles.
• Experience with engineering disciplines related to ECS analysis, such as fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, or computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
• Strong ability to work across multiple team functions.
