Aircraft Control Simulation Business Owner

Responsibilities

• Identify, capture, and prioritize simulation needs for future Flight Control domain programs
• Act as the interface between simulation business requirements and digital solution frameworks
• Influence the evolution of simulation frameworks developed by other Airbus teams
• Define solutions for massive simulations for Aircraft Controls and deploy initial use cases
• Contribute to the maturation of new solutions and prototypes through proof of concept development
• Support the definition of methodologies for preliminary system sizing activities
• Coordinate and support model developments, such as actuator models and hinge moments
• Ensure consistency of all models used during sizing phases with operational needs

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, flight physics, and aircraft control systems
• Proven experience in model development and simulation applications
• Proficiency in MATLAB and SIMULINK
• Ability to perform scripting
• Familiarity with Linux, Cloud, and big data concepts
• Experience with integration tools (JIRA, JENKINS) and configuration processes (GIT)
• English negotiation level (French language skills are a strong asset)
• Ability to obtain security clearance
