Aircraft Composite Tech

Responsibilities

• Manufacture composite aircraft parts through lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave, trimming, and repair
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets
• Use precision measuring devices including 6" scales, 1" micrometers, and 6" dial calipers
• Maintain accurate logs and records such as MIR sheets, DMTs, and PCOs
• Maintain a neat work area following FOD and 5S programs
• Support Lean manufacturing activities and safety regulations
• Provide technical direction and leadership to team members (Senior level)

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 to 5 years of related composite manufacturing experience
• Ability to work with composite resins and materials
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to use mathematical formulas to solve dimensional problems
• Must meet physical requirements of the position
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with close tolerance work
• Q-stamp certification
• Proven leadership and communication skills
