Airbag Software Architect

Responsibilities

• Communicate software architecture, design decisions, and updates to relevant stakeholders
• Perform High-Level Design (HLD) development and review
• Perform Low-Level Design (LLD) review and validation
• Analyze potential non-compliance with dependability requirements and implement solutions
• Participate in CCR and resource estimation with Project Managers
• Mentor Software Leads, Software Engineers, and Test Teams
• Manage Problem Management and Change Requests (CR)
• Identify impacted software components and define test scope during change analysis

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience in embedded software development and automotive systems
• Exposure to Model-Based Software Development (MBSD)
• Hands-on ability to write C/C++ code for embedded systems
• Proven experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Experience in medium to large-scale software development projects
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• BE / ME in ECE, CSE, or allied fields

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of BES-PE methods
• Experience in moderating Change Control Boards (CCBs)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
