Air Traffic Engineer (ATSEP)

Responsibilities

• Perform all planned and reactive maintenance of the airport’s air traffic management systems
• Ensure all ATS/CNS equipment is serviced and maintained in accordance with UK EU373/CAP670
• Update the Asset Management System and maintain accurate records
• Support schedule and reactive maintenance on other operational systems
• Take ownership of operational issues to ensure timely and safe resolution
• Support the 24/7 operation through various shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays

Requirements

• Previous experience working in Air Traffic Engineering
• UK PTC group ratings for ILS, DME, NDB, PSR, SSR, Radar Displays, RT Comms, Recorder Systems, IRVR, CCTV, and General Data Processing
• PTC Equipment Ratings at level 2 for specific equipment including Leonardo ATCR-33SE, Chelton RDS1600, Normarc 7000, Fernau 2020, Nautel NDB, Frequentis VCCS, Jotron, Ricochet, and Telvent
• Level 3 qualification in communication/electronic engineering or a comparable discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Aeronautical Ground Lighting Technician or Authorised Person
• Tower Climbing/Rescue certification
• On job training Instructor or Technical Skills Assessor
