Air Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end air shipments including booking, shipper/consignee contact, and arrangement within SOPs
• Input data into systems to create files, complete MAWB and HAWB, and handle AMS or EDI (FHL/FWB) submissions
• Manage timely invoicing for clients/agents and verify incoming subcontractor invoices
• Provide customer service by following up on requests, claims, and feedback
• Ensure all operational activities comply with international shipping regulations and company policies
• Maintain system accuracy and update data to meet KPIs
• Collaborate with account managers, customers, and customs teams to ensure smooth operations
• Identify and suggest process enhancements to increase efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related fields
• 1-2 years of experience in air operation or related roles in freight forwarding/logistics
• Fluency in Japanese (written and spoken)
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Detail-oriented and structured approach to work
• Customer-focused mindset
• Flexibility to work on weekends
