Air Import Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the daily workflow of the Air Import teams to ensure timely shipment handling.
• Oversee work assignments, provide guidance, and offer day-to-day support to Import Specialists and Coordinators.
• Ensure accurate processing of documentation, system updates, and adherence to customer SOPs.
• Support rate quoting and shipment coordination with overseas offices and agents.
• Act as a point of contact for escalated customer issues and vendor service concerns.
• Assist the Import Manager with onboarding, training, and monitoring team performance metrics and KPIs.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and company guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in air import operations within a freight forwarding environment.
• Proven knowledge of ISF procedures and POA & FPOA entry processes.
• Working knowledge of FDA & OGA transactions, as well as TIB / CARNETS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Hands-on experience with Cargowise (C1).
• Additional education in logistics or international business.
