Air Freight Gateway Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operational systems
• Track and trace Air Import MAWB files and reporting
• Communicate import information to overseas partners and customers
• Interact with internal customers to arrange international shipments
• Maintain relationships with suppliers including airline carriers and trucking companies
• Ensure compliance with internal and external government regulations
• Identify best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity
• Meet KPI standards and escalate problems to management when necessary

Requirements

• 3+ years of related Air Import experience
• Understanding of air documentation processes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Pro-active and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and maintain punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

• IATA dangerous goods certification
