Air Freight Assistant/Deputy Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage overall air export activities and business cases within the assigned region
• Conduct price negotiations with airlines and General Sales Agents (GSA)
• Perform pricing calculations and provide offers to customers and partners
• Optimize cargo routings through various hubs and distribution to branch offices
• Select service providers and optimize transport organization
• Create and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for shipment dispatch and delivery
• Handle troubleshooting, customer complaints, and claims in coordination with the legal department
• Arrange training for teammates and trainees
• Develop new lanes and monitor shipment position results
• Compile and control monthly reports for the team

Requirements

• Graduate degree in any discipline
• 5-7 years of professional experience in Air Freight
• Commercial education or specialized education in freight forwarding
• Proficiency in English
• Strong knowledge of ULD (Unit Load Device) and aircraft loadability
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills
• Strong commercial thinking, initiative, and responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CW1 (CargoWise)
