Air Export Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the air export product by overseeing operations, finances, sales, and people
• Monitor and improve key departmental productivity indicators including revenue and expense per desk
• Ensure compliance with internal operational process standards and external government regulations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors such as airlines and trucking companies
• Assist with annual department budget preparation and monthly P&L reviews
• Actively participate in the sales and retention process to develop departmental business
• Identify, develop, and mentor staff through regular appraisals and structured development plans
• Promote company cultural attributes and implement system enhancements

Requirements

• 4 years of industry-specific qualification
• Proven leadership background and attitude
• Strong market and product knowledge
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of Iata/Fiata Introductory Course
