Air Conditioning Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance according to scheduled plans
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Replace defective components and ensure proper system performance
• Monitor refrigerant levels and handle refrigerants safely
• Test and calibrate HVAC equipment and controls
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns promptly
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance team members

Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field
• Previous experience in air conditioning maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and refrigeration principles
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Basic communication skills in English
