Air and Missile Defense Exercise Planner

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead AMD contractor planner and liaison for warfighter exercise (WFX) planning and execution in support of 32d AAMDC
• Provide AMD analytical support to plan, prepare, rehearse, conduct, and assess LSCO exercises, including table-top and Mission Rehearsal Exercises
• Support the integration of AMD into WFX design and structure in accordance with command guidance
• Coordinate with 32d AAMDC Action Officers during Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) events, including scenario development and scripting
• Plan and organize exercise products to facilitate joint air and missile defense operations within LSCO environments
• Provide technical and tactical expertise to implement commander’s training guidance and develop strategies through the JELC
• Maintain oversight of supported events and provide recommendations for manning, simulation integration, and overall exercise design
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and knowledge management procedures to capture lessons learned and best practices

Requirements

• US Citizenship and eligibility for a Secret Security clearance
• Bachelor's degree (STEM degree preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in ADA operations
• 4+ years of experience at the Battalion (BN) or Brigade (BDE) level
• 14A experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in exercise design and the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC)
• Knowledge of Joint Planning processes, operations processes, Air Battle Management, and Air Operations Center activities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
