AI/ML Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Define the AI-driven validation roadmap across Business Banking
• Architect and embed end-to-end AI checks into campaign authoring and execution workflows
• Build AI/ML models to enhance pre-launch approvals by incorporating external signals and trend analysis
• Partner with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Controls to operationalize AI capabilities
• Automate quality metrics and evolve the learning agenda using internal benchmarks
• Integrate with upstream and downstream systems to ensure seamless tooling and support transformation objectives
• Provide executive-ready insights and status updates on the portfolio roadmap

Requirements

• Formal training or certification in Software Engineering with 1+ years of applied experience
• Hands-on experience with Gen AI builds, Agents, and MCP
• Intermediate proficiency in Python is required
• Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning methods
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Experience in data integration and real-time data processing
• Ability to design and implement complex algorithms for recommendation systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of LLM techniques including Agents, Planning, and Reasoning
• Experience building and deploying ML models on cloud platforms like AWS (SageMaker, EKS)
• Prior experience in credit card marketing and in-market testing
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business strategies
