AI/ML Research Fellow

Responsibilities

• Spend about 80% of time on independent AI/ML research
• Assist other fellows or broader research programs up to 20% of the time
• Develop high-risk, frontier research ideas with compute and mentorship support
• Produce papers, code, or a final report/blog post by the end of the fellowship

Requirements

• Strong evidence of self-directed research ability
• Prior publications or equivalent impactful work
• Relevant AI/ML background or research experience
• Ability to work remotely from an eligible location
• Willingness to read and understand all code you write

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with coding agents and evals-first workflows
• Interest in applied research for online security problems
• Familiarity with publishing at NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR
