AI/ML Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement mathematical, statistical, and machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with technology teams to specify data requirements, development environments, and necessary tools.
• Develop high-performing, well-documented analytics solutions and demonstrate their efficacy to business users and validation teams.
• Implement models into stable, well-tested software and work with technology partners to operationalize them.
• Provide ongoing support for the continued effectiveness of analytical and modeling solutions.
• Ensure all development activities comply with Enterprise Risk Management Policies and Model Risk Policies.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms, including NLP.
• Experience with SQL for data manipulation and retrieval.
• Hands-on experience with Spark or PySpark.
• Expertise in predictive model development.
• Understanding of the full model lifecycle, including monitoring, governance, and deployment.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
• Experience with project management using JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps tools such as TeamCity or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of the Financial or Banking domain.
• Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) tools and their applications.
• Experience working with AWS or Databricks.
