AI&DSP Engineer

Responsibilities

• Research, prototype, evaluate, and adapt novel hybrid AI & DSP algorithms for real-time embedded audio and speech processing applications
• Optimize and productize hybrid AI & DSP algorithms designed for embedded deployment
• Collaborate with AI and Embedded AI Engineers to deploy pre-trained models on wearable audio devices
• Stay up to date with advancements in audio machine learning and DSP research literature

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in audio AI research and/or DSP development
• Strong understanding of digital signal processing theory (e.g., filtering, Fourier transforms, modulation, and noise reduction)
• Expertise in machine learning, linear algebra, and statistics
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for algorithm development
• Background in AI research with experience in audio-related models and algorithm optimization for on-device implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing algorithms such as speech enhancement, feedback suppression, or beamforming
• Understanding of end-to-end audio systems, including transducers, audio ICs, acoustics, and embedded DSPs
