AI UPS Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive the Product Development Process (PDP) by conducting research and defining product features
• Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify market trends and pricing
• Define, manage, and communicate product requirements to stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and marketing to drive product development
• Plan and execute product launch strategies, including messaging and positioning
• Analyze product pricing, costs, and margins to define business strategy
• Support design review, validation, and product commissioning efforts
• Maintain the product roadmap and manage the full product lifecycle
• Monitor product performance and customer feedback for continuous improvement
• Provide product functionality training to internal and external teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering, or a similar technical field
• 7+ years of experience in product management or product engineering in industrial settings
• Proven system-level design experience with MW scale power electronics, BESS, and controls equipment
• Understanding of BESS systems integration with power electronics
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 20% for FAT inspection and site commissioning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with UPS, mission critical, industrial energy, or data center applications
• Familiarity with stage-gate product development processes
• Background in technical sales or sales engineering
• Experience with cost/margin analysis and product P&L ownership
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or Marketing (MBA preferred)
