AI Transformation Lead

Responsibilities

• Drive the AI transformation agenda for financial services clients, including banking, insurance, wealth, and superannuation.
• Lead engagements that transition organisations from fragmented AI experimentation to enterprise-wide, AI-ready operating models.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of transformation programmes, including shaping, selling, and delivering.
• Drive workflow redesign and define target operating models to ensure impactful and responsible AI delivery.
• Partner with technical delivery teams and C-suite stakeholders to align AI solutions with business value and regulatory requirements.
• Quantify workforce, effort, and cost impacts through role and workflow redesign.

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading large-scale transformation, operational excellence, or AI/digital programmes within the financial services industry.
• Proven track record of executing enterprise-wide process redesign in complex, regulated environments.
• Deep expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM.
• Strong understanding of AI, automation, and data to design AI-ready processes and partner with technical teams.
• Familiarity with the Australian financial services regulatory landscape (APRA, ASIC, Privacy Act, etc.).
• Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to engage at the board level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading AI-specific transformation programmes, such as agentic workflows or intelligent document processing.
• Exposure to value realisation frameworks and tracking long-term benefits.
• Experience working across both Big 4 consulting and industry environments.
• Previous experience shaping and selling multi-million-dollar transformation engagements.
